I can confirm that this chipset works great with the madwifi-ng drivers on Debian Testing. I’m seeing this now on Ubuntu Super User works best with JavaScript enabled.

The performance of this card in Ubuntu is terrible. Everything worked fine except for the wireless card. Works absolutely perfect in BT4, just have to manually raise txpower and get way more APs than with any other wireless adapter I had, plus the speed and bandwidth is doubled than with other adapters.
