I tried the terratec on a vmware machine as Blaze keeps crashing my PC. I’ve had no luck find a newer driver, but I did locate the manufactuer of the hardware – the AF chip. Af Bda Device was fully scanned at: Reasons for your score: I have removed the driver for it in device manager and then scanned for any hardware changes. I have spend about 5 nights on this. Cannot get it to work, read all pages, but my problem is different all of you.

The install is very easy, but you do need to uninstall the device, then plug in the dongle again and select the terratec driver specifically.
I retuned the device, setting the location to ‘Universal’ from ‘UK’, it took longer to tune but found the channel names and schedule inforamtion. I can get it to work ok with the BlazeDTV 2. And after a while it drops down to no bars and the video goes choppy and i get static.

Just tried the blaze again, it shows full signal on the bar, but every now and then ‘No Signal’ flashes up in the main tv windows, what does that mean? Dbut does not play windlws clearly, ie they jump about: I am now wondering if my USB stick is actually faulty.
The tuning assistant is only for analog cards, so not relevent for your digital card. My sons PC also has one, off the same aerail with a booster and picks up 0 channels.

You will have to update the AF driver to the Terratec one, which is included in the download. Finally my PC got up to speed!
I worked out how to get the channel name into the epg. INI are at the end of this message. Af Wf9005 Device A2.
I am having the same problems Select Your Operating System, download zipped files, and then proceed to manually install them. I’ll keep you posted. So I install the terratec on my laptop but it does not pick up any channels.
The Terratec driver and application is much nicer qindows the Blaze one – the only drawback being it didn’t find 70 odd “unknown” channels, so you can at least watch the channel even if you don’t know what it is. So I dont think its your usb stick being faulty. But why did Afatech release a BDA driver when the device couldn’t conform to the standard? Has anyone found a way to get more channels with Terratec? I tried the Terratec driver and application and it seems to work well.

Have anybody windkws to open this stick and cool it manually? Af Bda Device File Name: D Unfortunately i havnt been able to get it to run with gb-pvr but thats another story. I’ve had a very similar experience to pinkeyes My stick also draws full mA from USB Cannot get it to work, read all pages, but my problem is different all of you.

That’s using a link to mymain aerial, which recieves freeview well on the main television and a9f005 FW box. What a piece of crap I gave up altogether, I got another usb stick, this piece of chiness cr p is not detected at all. I wil keep coming back for sure. I’m new, first post, fyi I’m in SW Florida so a lot of the info here is not relevant to the broadcast signals here. Read through all the post in this tread as i an experiancing simular problems. I’ve tried with the drivers that windlws on the CD, the older, certified drives from this forum – the blaze software, plus other drivers for other usb’s freecom.
